SHOP PERSONNEL

The number of shop personnel varies from 25 to 30 skilled and semi-skilled machinists, welders, assemblers, and machine operators, working two shifts.

MACHINE SHOP

Primarily a subcontract machine shop with lathe turning, boring, drilling, milling, grinding, welding, and mechanical/electrical assemblies with turning up to 42" diameter X 48" turning size, boring precision locations within a 48 x 48 x 48 cube size.

PRECISION

Bore diameters turned and sizing from 1" to 20" are being maintained within .0005 size limit. Most machines are equipped with a position electronic digital readout, having a .0002  resolution.

TYPES OF WORK

M.E.S.A. approved electrical boxes and assemblies, turned shafts, clutches, bearing carriers, cylinder and liners, compressor main frames, mechanical arms, levers, weldments, mounting brackets, valves, keepers, crankshafts, track vehicle crawler chain, complete sub assemblies, and other O.E.M. service and replacement parts.
